Blog Launch: The Happy Homes

Dr. Fixit in Association with Roff India : Blog Launch"The Happy Homes"

When I just think of home renovation, unlimited ideas pop out in my magical mind. “I should do this, do that and they go on and off in our mind. But I have to stop these wonderful imagination when I see the house facing lots of problems such leakage, damp walls white
ants, termite ect.

It was a great relief when I attend the blog launch "The Happy Homes" of Dr. Fixit in association with Roff India . It allow my mind to build more and more wonderful ideas to Renovate my House. Pidilite Kondivita Head Office in Andheri had the set of this great launch where commercials were being played on the big screen and 3D visual tour with AV to experience the look of a house in two different forms, one which looked messy with leaking roofs, seepages, damped walls. The other showed the remedies for the same giving perfect water proofed painted walls and ceilings. The beautiful updated house looked so refreshing and full of positive energy.

There was a panel discussion where a Pulmonologist and Sleep specialist, Vastushastra Consultant, 'Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association' chairman and an interior designer came together to discuss on how to make the transition from a Home to a "Happy Home".

Dr. Alpa Dalal shared her experience that damped walls can cause health issues in kids and adult.

Mr. Omkar Thakur the vastushastra consultant said that the dampness spreads negative energy in the house which in-turn effects peace.

Mr. C. A. Ramesh Prabhu, the Chairman of "Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association" shared that the Housing Societies have laid some rules, which people do not follow. People feel we can play with our interiors in our own way in a housing society. But without prior
permission from the housing society nothing can be done inside your homes.

Ms. Shilpa Kakkar Madan, an interior designer and contributing Editor at Better homes shared interior design tips, like how the tiles are taking over paints and wall papers these days, fancy colours like blues and violets are the trend of 2016.

The discussion was followed by the launch of "The Happy Homes" blog, a place to find expert advice on renovation, home-keeping, browse around for happening interiors and trends. I have received helping hands to create my imaginative Happy Home from my
normal home.

Helios: Shoe-care Products

Helios : Shoe-care products form an integral part of grooming for every individual

It is a proverbial scoff that shoes convey useful information about their wearers. Even the legendary fictitious genius of ‘Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’ has reiterated the importance and reliability of judging a personality based on the way he has maintained himself even when it comes to his shoe-care.

By Mr. Sahil Gupta, Managing Director, C.P. Marketing Inc.

It is apparent that we choose our shoe-care products which on one hand caters to our style, class and status and on the other bestows our shoes with shine, durability and longevity. However, in India our preference remains limited to only buying shoes and we don’t really understand the requirement of shoe care products. And this is the reason why the category of shoe-care products in India is still very small.

As per a recent industry report, currently the participation of shoe-care
products in the shoe industry in India is not more than 1 per cent, while in other regions like Europe, the amount of shoe-care business is 5-6 per cent of the shoe market. Looking at the Indian population as a huge customer base, obviously there is a significant untapped potential in shoe-care segment. Such scenario offers an attractive and very profitable business opportunity, provided stress is laid on adequate consumer education and awareness. The Indian consumers need to understand that well maintained shoes matter the most, as a pair of beautifully made expensive shoes never stand their ground if these are unpolished, torn, faded or dirty.

Still, growing at the current pace, I’m sure within the next five years, the shoe-care segment will be an established category and it will be able to garner double digit growth easily. It is because, fast growing Indian population, maturing middle-class and more and more well-educated people who want to spend more on aspirational brands, have presented a sizeable opportunity in this segment. Making the most of this opportunity, we have already established ourselves as one of the biggest players in this segment. C.P. Marketing Inc, “under the wide umbrella of its shoe-care brand Heliohas already presented an exhaustive range of shoe care products such as trendy and innovative products for suede & nubuck leather, shoe creams, wooden shoe trees, sports cleaners, shoe, besides many other such product
variants.”

At Helios, we envision to change the mindset so far as choice and purchase of shoe care products in India is concerned. There is a need to change the demand pattern from need based to aspiration based, as these products form an integral part of grooming for every individual.

Ryan International School : Icpfa 2016

Ryan international School: Mumbai International Children's Festival of Performing Arts. I

It was my pleasure to attend this wonderful event where Diversity is celebrated.

The 14th edition of the International Children's Festival of Performing Art created an amalgamation of cultures and value through our young cultural ambassadors from across the globe in Mumbai. This edition of the festival was designed on the theme "Celebrating Diversity" had over 10,000 children from Bangladesh, czech, Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, India, Iran, Latvia, Morocco, Nepal, Russia, Slovenia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Zambia thrilling the world with their internationally acclaimed power packed performances through dance, music, puppetry and the most elemental art forms, spontaneously expressing the entire gamut of human emotions and experiences. It is due to the performance Par Excellence of Children that has made it one of India's most admirable Performing Arts Festivals over the years.

3 Unique Interactive Events

Opening Parade: A theatrical parade wad carried out with all national and international participants to spread the message of Peace and Harmony. These young global ambassadors carried forward the mission of creating a world without Violence, hatred and War. Spreading the light, singing together, shouting the slogans for a Peaceful World

World village: (Theme - Traditonal games and art forms of the world) Enjoy the stalls set – up by all National & International Teams, who sold souvenirs and artifacts from their states and countries. One of the most important objectives of the festival is to get the children of the world united. They exchanged their own ideas and interact with each other during the festival. To get them closer and unify, we had planned the WORLD VILLAGE.

White T Shirt Ceremony: Carried back a festival memento with universal impressions. All participants got together at one point, wearing plain white T-shirt and carrying colored sketch pens. They were then asked to write peace messages on each other's T-shirts, mentioning the name of their countries. Each participant had aleast 10 messages for 10 different countries.

The festival is not limited to viewing performances; here the focus is interaction, improvisation, play and discussion among the participants. We believe that children have immense enery and improvisation helps to tap this energy and make them more confident to express their desire and face the challenges of the world. Over the last 14 years the festival has spread its wings far and wide, thus becoming the most awaited event not only for Indian students but for the international artists joining in years after years.
