"Femina Miss India" is a prestigious pageant. After the spectacular achievement by Ms. Manushi Chhillar, making India proud with one more "Miss World 2017" Title. The search has started for the next "Miss World 2018".  Last year the new format of fbb Colors Femina Miss India was introduced, #WeAreChanging. Auditions have been started all over India according to the 4 zone. It was an honour to receive the invitation of the #MissIndia2018  Maharashtra audition as a #fbbblogstar in the #fbbGuestlist at the 55th edition of India's coveted beauty pageant. fbb Femina Miss India 2018 Mumbai Maharashtra auditions took place at the fbb store, Infinity Malad on 6th May 2018. 

Wonderful set up for the ramp at the fbb store. Participants were pouring for registration. The Panelists: Aishwarya Devan, Ruhi Singh, Prathamesh Maulingkar and, Natasha Grover who really had a tough time for selection.

After the registration each participant had a height check then they ramp walked for the first round: Selection round. The selected participants then ramp walked with their cocktail dresses for the second round: Cocktail Elimination Round, where each participant had to answer the questions from the panel to prove their brains. Lastly the top three beauties to represent Maharashtra were selected and announced.

Friends excitement ceases, here is the winner the 54th edition of India's coveted beauty pageant fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017

All the six finalists had to answer one common questions. The best response of brain resulted into the winner of the event.

The Panel of judges for the Grande Finale at Yash Raj Studios  were (L-R) Vidyut Jamwal, Ileana D'Cruz, Arjun Rampal, Stephanie Del Valle, Bipasha Basis, Abhishek Kapoor and Manish Malhotra. 

The Mentors of #fbb #Colors #feminamissindia2017 are Neha Dhupia (North Zone), Parvathy Omanakuttan (South Zone), Waluscha de Dsouza (West Zone) and Dipannita Sharma (East Zone). The Mentors did great job of selecting the best talents from their respective zones, trained and groomed them to compete for the crown.

The entire event had a comedy touch with the two comedian hosts #KaranJohar and #RiteshDeshmukh. 

#SushantSinghRajput and #AliaBhatt put the stage on fire with there lovely dance performances. 

#SonuNigam also gave a marvelous performance.

Still the final result to be decided, #RanbirKapoor gave a performance promoting #JaggaJasoos.

Today I will take you'll in the past with my favourite and most loved #FeminaMissIndia icons. #FeminaThrowBack These celebrities do not need any introduction. #MissIndia pageant, a dream come true for these divas has become a turning point of their life's. (From left to right)

My first favourite diva is the evergreen Indian beauty #AishwaryaRaiBachchan. She is the winner of the Miss World pageant of 1994. She has a successful Bollywood career. She has established herself as one the most popular and high-profile celebrities in India. She is my most favourite #feminamissIndia icon as she has balanced her life perfectly which involves the career, name-fame, relationship, and motherhood. 

My second favourite diva is the bold and beautiful #ShusmitaSen. She is the first Indian to win the Miss Universe title. She learnt English when she was 16 years. Today, she is a single mother of two adopted girls - Renee and Alisah. She heads a charitable Foundation called I Am foundation. She loves to contribute to child's welfare and educating girl child is her priority. I admire her as she is just magnificent​. She is the perfect combination of beauty with brains.

I admire both the beauties with brains of 1994 #FeminaMissIndia. fbb has given me a lovely opportunity to recreate!!! their unforgettable looks. #FeminaThrowBack

Lucky Beauties to Represent the West Zone

#Femina Miss India" is a prestigious pageant, as l always mention. My last post shows the overview of the entire procedure of  the Maharashtra auditions. And before to it describes the changes in the new format of fbb Colors Femina Miss India #WeAreChanging. It was again a wonderful opportunity to be part as a #fbbblogstar in the #fbbGuestlist at the 54th edition of India's coveted beauty pageant. fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017 West Zonal Crowing took place at The Hyatt Regency, Pune on 23rd May 2017. I really missed the opportunity as I was unwell. Still I will try to visualise the entire event. #westzonalcrowing

West Zone consist of 4 states Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa. Total 12 beauties, 3 of each state were eligible for the crowing ceremony round. The 10 winners of the sub contest are (which was conducted a day prior to final event):

Mentor Waluscha De Dsouza of the west zone, Adinath Kothare, Srinidhi Shetty, Vijendra Singh and  Swapnil Shinde were the judges for the day. Gauhar Khan and Salman had burnt the stage with their performances. Sachin Kumbhar and Gaelyn Mendonca did a great job of hosting the entire event. 

There were 3 rounds

First Ramp walk Round: Called Modern India Round, as the contestants walked in the Indo-Western designer attire from the collection called "Luminaire" by desingers Alpa and Reena.

Second Cocktail Round: Called Fbb Round, as the contestants walk in the party wear with edgy black and fresh floral from the Rehan Shah's Collection. 

Third Question & Answer Round: Called Evening Gown Round as the contestants walked in lovely gowns designed by the designer Nivedita Saboo. The winners were crowed in these wonderful princess looked gowns.

These lucky 4 beauties of each state gets the chance to represent her state at the grand finale in Mumbai. The finalists will go through a holistic and rigourous training programme with best in the industry. Apart from the fame and glory, the winner stands a chance to take home prizes in cash, running over crore and above.

My last post describes the changes in the new format of fbb Colors Femina Miss India #WeAreChanging. Auditions have been started all over India according to the 4 zone. It was an honour to be the part of the #MissIndia2017 Maharashtra audition as a #fbbblogstar in the #fbbGuestlist at the 54th edition of India's coveted beauty pageant. fbb Femina Miss India 2017 Mumbai auditions took place at the fbb store, Infinity Malad on 13th May 2017. Neha Vazarkar and I had a gala time.

Mr. India Rohit Khandelwal, Ms. Natasha Grover, Head Miss India organisation, Ms. Sushrii Shreya Mishra, (3rd runner-up) Miss India 2015, and Mr. Madan Mohapotra, Fbb Head (from left to right) had a tough time for selection.

Unveiling the new format of the 54th Edition of fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017.

Gear up Girls to make your dreams come true!!! By participating in the prestigious pageant.

A Blogger's Meet was called at the True Tramm Trunk on 10th February, 2017 to unveil the new changes in the format of Miss India pageant. 

The presence of Femina Ms. India Goa, 2015 -Lopamudra Raut, Femina Ms. India World, 2016-Priyadarshini Chatterjee, and Mr. India World, 2016-Rohit Khandelwal had a huge impact in the air. All the three had a quick interaction with the bloggers talking about their experiences, journey, achievements, hardships etc.

The pageant is growing bigger each year and this time, will conduct a nation-wide hunt in all 30 states (including Delhi). This association is in sync with fbb one of the India's most preferred fashion brand. Hence the auditions will take place at fbb/BigBazaar store for first time and will be open to public viewing. For the past five years, the pageant has been in a strategic alliance with Colors to achieve maximum mileage. 
To encourage more participation, the changes in the new format of fbb Colors Femina Miss India #WeAreChanging 

1. The Height criteria has been reduced to 5.5' 
2. The swimwear round has been eliminated from the auditions. 
3. Each Zone will be led by a celebrity mentor.

• Mentor: Neha Dhupia-NorthZone (Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi) 
• Mentor: Parvathy Omanakuttan-SouthZone (Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadi and Karnataka)
• Mentor: Waluscha De Dsouza-WestZone (Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa and Maharashtra)
• Mentor: Dipannita Sharma-EastZone  (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim)

Pageant Give way
The pageant will declare one winner from every state in India. The top 3 of every state will be given a golden ticket to the state zonal crowning ceremony, which will be held in Bengaluru (South zone), Delhi (North zone), Kolkata (East zone) and Pune (West zone). And the state winner will get the chance to represent her state at the grand finale in Mumbai. The finalists will go through a holistic and rigourous training programme with best in the industry. Apart from the fame and glory, the winner stands a chance to take home prizes in cash, running over crore and above.

To Participate: 

1. Age group 18-25 (as of 31 December, 2017)
2. Indian Nationality (have a valid Indian passport)
3. Or ICU card holder (can only win the runner-up titles)

2. State currently residing/studying/employee
3. Either of the Parent's Birth State. 
4. Either of the Parent's currently residing state.
