When I just think of home renovation, unlimited ideas pop out in my magical mind. “I should do this, do that and they go on and off in our mind. But I have to stop these wonderful imagination when I see the house facing lots of problems such leakage, damp walls white
ants, termite ect.
It was a great relief when I attend the blog launch "The Happy Homes" of Dr. Fixit in association with Roff India . It allow my mind to build more and more wonderful ideas to Renovate my House. Pidilite Kondivita Head Office in Andheri had the set of this great launch where commercials were being played on the big screen and 3D visual tour with AV to experience the look of a house in two different forms, one which looked messy with leaking roofs, seepages, damped walls. The other showed the remedies for the same giving perfect water proofed painted walls and ceilings. The beautiful updated house looked so refreshing and full of positive energy.
There was a panel discussion where a Pulmonologist and Sleep specialist, Vastushastra Consultant, 'Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association' chairman and an interior designer came together to discuss on how to make the transition from a Home to a "Happy Home".
Dr. Alpa Dalal shared her experience that damped walls can cause health issues in kids and adult.
Mr. Omkar Thakur the vastushastra consultant said that the dampness spreads negative energy in the house which in-turn effects peace.
Mr. C. A. Ramesh Prabhu, the Chairman of "Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association" shared that the Housing Societies have laid some rules, which people do not follow. People feel we can play with our interiors in our own way in a housing society. But without prior
permission from the housing society nothing can be done inside your homes.
Ms. Shilpa Kakkar Madan, an interior designer and contributing Editor at Better homes shared interior design tips, like how the tiles are taking over paints and wall papers these days, fancy colours like blues and violets are the trend of 2016.
The discussion was followed by the launch of "The Happy Homes" blog, a place to find expert advice on renovation, home-keeping, browse around for happening interiors and trends. I have received helping hands to create my imaginative Happy Home from my
normal home.
