Hello! Friends,

http://prettyladiestalk.blogspot.in/2017/07/kidzania-r-city-mumbai.html?m=1

My kids just love this place. They have visited Kidzania nearly 5 times. We visited on 17th May, 2018, But this visit to Kidzania was an interesting part for me as a adult. Yes this summer is a Zuper Summer because with kids there are many activities where adults also can take part and have a fun day. It can be a "Family Fun Workshop."

There are following activities to bring kids and parents together. KidZania is the perfect destination for families to bond this Summer season from21st April to 10th June 2018.

Virtual Reality Arena (VR games):  These are computer based games. This includes games like Plank, Ocean, Space, Pictosaurus, Roller Coaster, Google Earth and many more.

Fit-A-Thon: This is a Zumba Outlet. Adults can jump, dance, shake, and swing their hips, the perfect place for fitness fun.

Fun-A-Thon: This is Fun Activity Zone. Table Tennis, Turn ball and a lot of games to enjoy with your family and chance to win exciting prices.

Artistry: This is a creative area. Be come a artist, make Caricature of your favorite people. Enjoy Hair braiding and Nail Art.

    KidZania - R-City Mumbai

What is KidZania? The world of adults for children in a mini replica of a real city. Children can play various role-playing activities that will allow them to earn KidZos. Children can experience the functioning of the real world in an extremely safe and fun filled environment.
KidZania Mumbai is a theme park, located in R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India. It is a family entertainment center for children in the age group of 4 to 16. There are 2 slots in a day : 10am-3pm and 4pm-8pm.

At the Ticket counter you will be given Tickets, Map, a cheque and bracelet/watch. This bracelet is scanned for every activity.

There is two kind of activities. One in which they can earn KidZos and other in which they have to spent KidZos. They can earn KidZos performing a professional or service role play.

There are lots of activities in which children spent KidZos and in return they get eatables made by themselves such as Sabro pizza, Hardy's Burger, Coca cola, Dairy Milk, Parked Biscuits, Kellogg's, Mad over donuts, Parle candy and much more.

My kids just enjoyed all the activities whether to earn or to spend. They learnt to save KidZos and deposit in the Yes Bank. They were happy to have their on debit card. They also invested in Mutual funds. They started earning when there was short of funds. KidZania is learning the real values of life in a fun manner. There is so much to see and to do that one day is not enough. For parents, also it a relaxing day as my husband and me did not bother about kids, just sat back and enjoyed relaxing moments with each other.

This just a glance of happiness kids carry alone them. Real happiness of kids will be seen when you visit KidZania. If your kids want to visit it again and again then avail KidZania pazzport for them. Even for toddlers can perform some activities along with ABC elementary and kitchen.

Exam Stress in Kids..... And a Parent's Response.

High expectations leads pressurising children during exams which can cause exam stress in them.
Parents expect a lot from their children and due to this knowingly or unknowingly pressurise kids to perform well in exams.
Children who are preparing for exams under pressure, naturally their pressure gets converted into anxiety that leads to nervousness called as Exam Stress.

But if we as parents handle children without pressurising, we can help them to get more better result.

Read an real experience of a friend.

We were getting ready to go to bed when my 7 year old son said in a calm tone, "Mamma tomorrow is my IEO (English Olympiad ) Exam".

It was 10.30pm. He was unwell the last week, so we didn't practice and on the weekend I was busy with work. Amidst all this we forgot about the exam.

Now the mother in me wanted to react...

I wanted to give my son a lecture, maybe like this...

    "What?? You're telling me now,
Why didn't you remind me earlier.
Why did you go to play?
    Why didn't you study?
    How can you forget?
    You're so careless.
You can't even remember your exam dates"

I could have done that and maybe that's the easiest way to express OUR anxiety or fear Or Any Big Emotion We are Going Through,

     BUT I chose to Respond.

I said, "Hmm both Mamma and My Smart son Forgot about it. Sometimes we do forget things. Now we can sit for quick 15 minutes and you can ask me any doubts you have."

He quickly brought his IEO workbook and the next 15 minutes we were engrossed in solving the paper.

What surprised me was the way the things went smoothly and today morning he even solved one more paper.

His exam was superb. He was happy.

All this happened because as a parent my friend chose to Respond.

When children are anxious or scared or are facing any big emotion, they DON'T Need an adult who is yelling, lecturing or advising.

They need an adult who is able to guide them to a solution And  stand with them.

That's YOUR Responsibility as, 'A Better Parent.'

Today I Want You to Think Which are Some of the Situations Where You As a Parent, React and How Can You Choose to Respond, Effectively.
